Worship & Education

sunday worship

Join us each Sunday for worship services designed to meet our vision of welcoming and including all of God's children. Become inspired by lively music, impassioned preaching, sincere prayer, and a healthy dose of energy and fun. Worship at HOPE is a time to be renewed, challenged, and encouraged.

We wholeheartedly welcome God's Children of all ages to be a part of worship. Wigglers, gigglers and wanderers are all welcome in God's house. We have a wonderfully furnished nursery space that adjoins the sanctuary for use by families with children ages 0 to 4.

sunday education

Both children and adults have an opportunity to explore faith questions during team led sessions of quest.

  • Adults meet at 10:30 a.m. for Adult Quest, casual discussions about issues of faith. Participants lead the group through soul-searching topics which may center around scripture, current events, or faith challenges

  • Children meet during services for Kids Quest, HOPE UCC’s Christian Education for children.  Through participatory learning, children learn about community, Scripture, values, and service.

Monthly fellowship hour: join us for coffee!

One of the ways HOPE United Church of Christ lives its values is through the sacred practice of community building. Starting September 1, 2024, join us on the first Sunday of each month from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM in the Narthex prior to worship for coffee and fellowship.

if you're visiting for the first time

Visiting a new church can be intimidating, especially if you don’t know what to expect.

We invite you to experience a worship service at HOPE where our lay partners lead most of the service. Their ideas have shaped what worship looks like at our church. The idea that we take the Bible seriously but not literally is evident in everything we do. We welcome newcomers and are happy to engage at whatever level makes you comfortable. We hope that  you will experience the hope, love and joy that comes from a community of people who love Jesus and one another.

If you'd like to connect before you come, please call 630-922-0470 or email hope@sharehope.org.
